I believe I can

Good morning, everyone. I’m very excited to stand here and share my opinion about confidence with you. What is confidence? I think just at this time, I can stand here, that is confidence. Don’t you think so? What is confidence? In my opinion, always say to yourself, “I believe I can!”, that is confidence.

So every morning, when I see the rising sun , when I hear birds singing, I know a new day is coming , and I say to myself ,'I believe , I can!' It’s in my heart now. I believe I can solve any problems, I believe I can succeed in my life!

I believe I can! No one can stop my steps to the success. Many inventors believe “ failure is an option（失败是一种选择）, but fear is not.”So they never give up when they are in the face of difficulties. And at last they succeed. Thomas Edison always believed he could, so he invented the light bulb（灯泡）after thousands of tests. The world famous musician Beethoven always believed he could, he finally created(创作) many pieces of beautiful music although he was deaf. I ,Deqing Cuomu, a student of Grade Nine, always believe I can, so now I am standing on the stage to give you the speech. I believe I can.

I always believe that I'm the best, and I can be the best, this is my confidence. I am standing here, and give you the speech, I am smiling to you and show how I believe in myself. and you will say what a

confident girl you are!

Whatever you do in the future , just believe in yourself like me, believe that you always have the ability to do the things,

never give up, show your confidence, forever believe yourself!
