摘要：Optical isolation device () optically couples and electrically isolates variouscomponents on a local source circuit () from components on a remote isolated circuit ().Light source () is coupled to opto-electrical detector () and opto-electrical sensor () iscoupled to optical signal generator () by optical channel (). The opto-electrical detector ()is electrically coupled to remote isolated circuit () which is powered by the electricitygenerated by opto-electrical detector () in response to being impinged upon by light ().Remote isolated circuit () is also electrically coupled to optical signal generator () whichgenerates optical signals () in response to electrical signals received from remoteisolated circuit (). Opto-electrical sensor () produces electrical signals in response tobeing impinged upon by optical signals (). Thus, remote isolated circuit () is completelyelectrically isolated from, but in communication with and powered by, local source circuit().
