Read through the 5 word cards rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, sunny. 4.Show a map of the weather .Talk about the weather. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Point to the picture and ask What’s the weather like in Beijing/ Moscow/ Sydney? How about Singapore/ London/Toronto? Focus on the sentences and phrases How about…? A. Ask and answer. S1: What’s the weather like in …? S2: It’s …. How about…? B. Let’s play. T: What’s the weather like in Sydney? Ss: It’s hot. T: Yes, it’s hot. It’s 30℃. Focus on 30 degrees and practice group by group. 2. Show the situation Chen Jie is in Beijing and Mark is in New York. They are making a phone. Let’s see what’s going on. Ss watch the
