摘要:[Problem] To make a robot arm thinner while maintaining the diameter of ahollow in the arm. comprises a plurality of gears and transmits power from motors (M, M) to at least one ofthe second and third movable wrist parts (14, 16); and a thin wall portion (34) that isformed in a region where the clamping unit (33) supports the second movable wrist part(14), that has a portion of the power transmission mechanism (PS) disposed thereon, andthat has a thickness in the B axis (AxB) direction that is thinner than other regions of theclamping unit (33). The power transmission mechanism (PS) has a coupled drive
mechanism (IS) that comprises two first bevel gears (BG1, BG1) that are supported to beable to rotate about the B axis (AxB) and that have power transmitted respectively fromthe motors (M, M), and a second bevel gear (BG2) that meshes with both first bevel gears(BG1, BG1) and can rotate about the T axis (AxT).
