摘要： Method and apparatus for attaching a spout (4) to the planar portion of anarticle (2), such as a milk carton or juice. The device may be incorporated into
conventional machines fabriction and carton filling and the method comprises the stepsof heating a stem (6) of the nozzle, applying an adhesive to a flange (7) on the spout,positioning the spout at a predetermined relationship to an applicator (80) nozzle,positioning a carton provided with a hole formed in a predetermined relationship withrespect to the spout applicator, and fixing the spout to the carton, wherein the heatedrod (6) is deformed so as to come into mechanical contact with the carton around thehole. The invention also relates to a device implementing the method.
