Having a part-time job has become the only choice to make some money. I agree with this kind of behavior, and what more, I guess that the part-time job give us effects far above that.
During the whole time of university, you are certainly able to study all day and night, and gain a good score, even the best in the whole school. However, are you satisfied with that? No, you can’t! University is not only a place to get good grades for you, but also a place to provide a bridge to help you walk though the school to the society. And the latter is the most serious and more important indeed. To adapt to the society, it is not wise just to devote into studying. What we have to learn is how to deal with international relationship, how to complete a matter, how to endure how to fight for and so on. These things that need you practice what you preach can be felt and learned if and only if you put yourselves into the society.
Apparently, doing a part-time job is exactly this opportunity. It makes you nearer to the society. Of course we will feel strange that the society is much different from the life we knew, we may feel stressed for the hardness to survival and the competition in it. But it is the unpleasantness that proves our choice to be right. Only if touch, know, and adapt to the society earlier, can we get advantage when we walk out of the school and into it, which is the best effect to do a part-time job.
Meanwhile, getting a part-time job is also a good way to help parents to decrease the economic burden, and it can practice and increase our efficiency in
studying and working, and encourage us to use and distribute the limited time. In one word, to find a part-time job is a great choice good for all aspects of development of college students.
